My Garden Crop
With the early start, the wonderful soil, irrigation and the help of a troybuilt horse, manual labor was reduced to 14 hours each day. After which the daily crop was still to be counted and disposed of. A task, thankfully assisted by Vince Bomereto, the owner of Tony's restraunt. Vince was more than happy to buy all of the Roma tomatoes that we could produce. Altogether he bought around 3000 pounds. We canned and froze, and canned and froze, and did everything we could to feed the Nation. Actually, little went to waste.
A few buckets of beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, and red peppers..
Another load of tomatoes, ready for Vince..
