We are on our way to the first dive, the DePalm Slope. This is approximately an 80'dive with 80' visibility. This was a fast drift dive. We saw a lion fish on this dive and our Dive Master Albert killed it. Lion fish are destroying the reefs by eating the coral, and the divers are trying to reduce the population, in order to save the reefs.

This is Bero, our Dive Master. He was quite a character, a really big guy who did everything with great ease. He had a thick Polish accent, and a very funny personality, but with diving he was absolutely NO Nonsense.

And here we go . . . Ginny descends. All diving pictures for this day were taken at our second dive site, Barcadera Reef. This was a 50' dive with great visibility. Lots of color on this dive, feather coral, needle fish, sponges. This was really the best dive of the trip.
