2013_10_11_10_52_10 - Wed Oct 30 16:15:13 2013

Security Guard with Ellis at Pier 2. Ginny engaged this nice gentleman in conversation because the Segway tour office was closed at Pier 2. He informed us that it was closed because the tour goes through the Old San Juan fort, and through 14 historic landmarks (all closed) because the US Government was C L O S E D. Thank you Mr. Obama for closing our vacation. The nice Security Guard told us that much of Puerto Rico is subsidised our tax dollars, and the very poor have no incentive to work because of our handouts. We were truely amazed how empty the tourist areas were, and we were told that it was because of the Government shutdown.

What the hell do they mean 'CLOSED'. The government better not be messing with the butterflies. Seriously . . . just closed for some renovation work and should be open in a couple of days. "I'LL BE BACK!"
